Op.52 - 3 Pieces

A set of three poems, divided as follows:
No.1 - Poem in C major
No.2 - Enigma
No.3 - Poème languide in B major
The first is a sort of nonchalant meditation, very impressionist and full of sonorities reminiscent of Debussy (parallelism in the harmonies, constant reverb, very flexible tempo…). The second is a capricious poem, as if the music were maliciously running away from the pianist’s fingers. It is also reminiscent of the mythological depiction of Ondine in music (Debussy, Ravel…). The last one opens the weightless musical atmosphere of the Sonata No.5, a revolutionary piece and the very next opus.
