Unpublished piece from Scriabin’s middle period, chronologically his third Album Leaf. The circumstances surrounding its composition and the reasons it remained unpublished are unclear.

Written in F-sharp major — Scriabin’s favorite key for lyrical expression — the piece is full of charming colors and voluptuous melodic lines. Its aesthetic is reminiscent of other works in the same key, such as the Poem Op.32 No.1 and “Fragilité,” Op.51 No.1.
